Yup, it’s Valentine’s month. Wait a minute, valentine is only one day. But you know how everyone gets so hyped up about matters of the heart, especially Valentine’s Day. So what are your plans? Do you have a partner? What about me? It would definitely be just like last year’s. Nothing. But I bet every flower, candy, chocolate bars and shops would experience their busiest day of the year. The day would be a battle of the best Retail POS System. And the winner is the only one left standing, or in this case, the only one left open. So while the rest of the world celebrates Valentine, I’ll be sleeping and hoping the day is going to be over soon.

summer tunes

Nothing like summer tunes to make you whole again. Do you agree? And with summer tunes are images of road trips, family reunions, picnics and the beach. It’s impossible not to associate summer with music. So what’s your summer song? Mine is the Ocean by Led Zeppelin with the fantastic guitar playing of no other than Jimmy Page. It makes me wonder what type of guitar he used to play with. Was it peavey cirrus because he’d never use low quality guitars? Anyway, summer’s just around the corner and I can’t imagine anything better than Ocean blasting in my car with my hair loose, the warm air blowing in my face, and the promise of a spectacular view of sun, sand and the blue sky.

I can’t wait for summer.

travel bug

The travel bug bit me again. In less than a month, we’ll be in Hongkong. I can barely contain my excitement. I just know I’ll have fun. After putting up with so many errands,chores and work, I think it’s about time to put my feet up and relax. Although I can’t say for sure if I’ll be able to put my feet up literally during our HK trip as there would be a lot of walking around, sightseeing and of course, shopping. But just a teeny bit of shopping. Yeah, no reason to splurge and I’m kinda wishing I have a Visa reward card so I’d get points for every item I purchase during the trip. It would truly make me feel less guilty.

So I have about less than a month to finish all my to-dos before departure. So good luck to me.

Truth be told, I love wearing my son’s flannel shirts more than my own clothes. They’re comfy enough to wear just about anywhere. Anywhere meaning the grocery, my kid’s school, drugstore, the mall and to Sunday breakfast at Pancake House. This is just one thing you probably don’t know about me among many others that I won’t even dare write about here. Ok, just one more as I recently acquired this blogger syndrome of talking about things that don’t interest anyone but you. So here goes…I love Survivor and I’m hoping Arnold wings the 3 million. I think he deserves it more than anyone in the group.

My mind is kinda blank right now. Actually, it’s not blank. It’s more like all over the place. So don’t wonder if you read about the weather here and next thing you read about is PS3 Move.

I’ve been sitting here with my laptop on my lap of course and I can’t focus on anything. I stared at the screen for a solid 15 minutes and nothing came to my mind except that I should just type anything. So here I am, still typing away.

And here goes more:

I thought January is supposed to be colder compared to summer months but it feels like summer now. I just wanna head down to the beach and strip.
I need to finish 5 articles within the week and they’re not just free-form writing, they require a bit of research. So, good luck articles! I can’t even finish this post without my mind going back to number 1.
I love fresh lumpia. I’ve been eating it for the past three days. But the restaurant I get those is closed on weekends. And I can’t chop vegetables without me going back to numbers 1 and 2. I just don’t have the time.

Ok, I’ll have to end this now before I really go back to number 1.

gossip

I find it funny that in forums, gossip posts get the most comments. Why? I read those posts but I never comment. Why again? Because I’m not any better than those people they gossip about. Which brings me to another why…why do those people comment and say so much? Why do they have these opinions? And mind you, their comments make you think that they live clean and holy lives. Why are we so quick to judge? I have a ton of skeletons in my closet. That’s why I don’t comment or say anything. And judging by their comments and often, unsavory opinions, they probably don’t have one teeny bone hidden in their closets.

I envy them. They have nothing to hide. ;-)
